The spatial documentation of Yemrehanna Kristos in the norther part of Ethiopia took place during the Zamani Project field campaign in 2016.

The church in built inside a cave. Next to the church is a building sometimes referred to as palace or residence, Behind the church lays the tomb of King Yemrehanna Kristos. Further into the cave there is an open accumulation of skeletons of monks and others.
Full dome panoramas capture a full 360-degree view from a single position. Individual full dome panoramas can be merged into a panorama tour, which allows a user to freely move from one panorama position to another.
